Thanksgiving means family and food - lots and lots of food! This holiday will undoubtedly be stressful on your body, and there might be some reactions because of it. But fear not – there are plenty of things you can do to keep your body looking, and feeling, great this Thanksgiving season!
If you struggle with cellulite (which is COMPLETELY natural), this will be the key to getting super soft legs back! Especially with the help of an exfoliating shower mitt that works on the toughest of skin types, get your skin feeling new! In this blog post I am going to share my new favorite DIY homemade skin firming scrub recipe form Sugar Cosmetics that you can use any time to get your body ready for the stress of the holiday season. Are you ready?!
1/2 cup of fine sugar or brown sugar
1/2 cup of coconut oil
Mix both of the ingredients thoroughly, and then apply it to your damp skin, either before or during your shower. Massage in the mixture for 5 or 10 minutes, and then rinse it away with warm water! You can use this all-over scrub on your body, but it will work best for the hard-to-reach places on your legs and arms. Have you got your 100% eucalyptus shower mist nearby? Don't forget to elevate the experience by making your bathroom into a personal spa✨
The science! (Thanks Sugar Cosmetics🤩)
Freedom loves helping warriors get their freedom back - in whatever way that means to you. Being free is about understanding what is inside the products that we put onto our bodies (woohoo! all-natural deodorant!) and what effect they will have on us. Brown sugar is a natural and easy exfoliant that helps us shed the old, dead skin cells and can reduce the appearance of cellulite. Coconut oil is good for your skin because it moisturizes and leaves your skin feeling soft and silkily.
This is our new favorite homemade scrub! Thanks Sugar Cosmetics! We can't wait to know what you think.
