Are you constantly worried about excessively sweating? Are you afraid of lifting your arms up because you know you’ll have massive sweat stains on your shirt? It’s okay. We all sweat. And, we want to tell you that sweating is so normal.
But, listen, we get it…. no one wants to be sweating to the point that you feel uncomfortable or even embarrassed. So, we are going to provide you with five tips to help you reduce your sweat naturally.
1. Stay hydrated
Staying hydrated, in general, is so important to our bodies. Drinking plenty of water can actually help keep your body cool and prevent excessive underarm sweating.
2. Wear breathable, loose-fitting clothing.
Tight clothing can cause you to sweat more and the sweat stains are more noticeable on tight clothing. Instead, opt for loose clothing that is comfortable for you to wear! Who doesn’t want to wear comfortable clothes anyways?!!
3. Skip the caffeine.
Caffeine stimulates the nervous system which increases sweating. So, if you can skip the morning coffee, then do it! If not, you can always try to decrease caffeine intake.
4. Limit spicy, fatty, or salty foods
Alcohol, meats, salt, and fatty processed foods can also increase the sweat flow for some people. We suggest limiting certain types of food at a time so that you can effectively eliminate the foods that affect your body negatively.
5. Herbs and Vitamins
Before we say anything else, please make sure to consult your doctor. However, there are herbs and vitamins that can help you reduce your sweat naturally like magnesium, calcium, B vitamins, D vitamins, chlorophyll, wheatgrass, essential oils, and apple cider vinegar. The list goes on, but that is for you and your trusted source to discuss!
