Dark Circles got you down? Here are some steps to help lighten your underarms!
Step 1: Get rid of that antiperspirant!
Antiperspirants can have chemicals such as aluminum or parabens that can irritate and inflame leading to darkening of your skin. Know what’s in your deodorant and switch to an all natural alternative like Freedom!
“I’ve always struggled with dark circles in my underarms. After recently switching to Freedom from my antiperspirant the first thing I noticed (after smelling amazing of course) was the difference in pigmentation in my underarms. My dark circles were practically gone! I had no idea my antiperspirant was aiding to the pigmentation until I read up on it after I switched” Emma F (verified customer)
Step 2: Try an exfoliating armpit scrub!
This gentle, simple scrub exfoliates and moisturizes skin. Exfoliation helps rid dead skin cells and as a result, help lighten your dark circles!
1 cup white sugar
¼ cup coconut oil
2 tablespoons of ground turmeric powder
10-12 drops essential oil (lavender or lemon preferred)
Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and stir well.
Store in an airtight container (i.e. mason jar)
Apply to wet skin and massage on skin in circular motion.
Rinse with warm water and pat dry

Step 3: Moisturize!
The skin in your armpits is very sensitive and can be prone to irritation with shaving, chafing, and just daily activity. Be sure to moisturize to reduce irritation that can cause pigmentation.
