An Easy and Delicious Second Recipe for Hanukkah - Red Velvet Cake Mix Cookies
Hi warriors!

Ira, CEO and Founder of Freedom, is here again with another amazing desert suggestion!

Are you looking for a unique, easy and delicious second recipe to serve your family during Hanukkah? Look no further than these Red Velvet Cake Mix Cookies! We found this recipe from Kindly Unspoken, and have been in love with them ever since! I think the reason I love these so much is because they remind me of our lip balm! 🤭 Lots have people say our chapstick tastes like cookies! Get your 3 pack here 😉 While our lip balm is 100% natural so it's safe to eat, these are a lot yummier!!

This sweet treat is made with only 5 simple ingredients and 6 easy steps. Not only are these cookies the perfect way to end your family's Hanukkah feast, but they are also a great way to get the kids involved in the kitchen. So get ready to bake up something special for your family this holiday season with this tasty and easy-to-follow recipe!

Ingredients:
- (1) 15-oz. box red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (plus 2 - 3 for the top of each cookie)
- 1/4 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Using an electric hand mixer, mix together the red velvet cake mix, oil, and eggs until they are combined well. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and semi sweet chocolate chips until they are evenly combines. The dough should be sticky and thick.
Step 3: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour.
Step 4: Once ready to bake, scoop about 2 tablespoons of the cookie dough and roll it into a ball. Place cookies on the baking sheet at least 2 inches apart and if desired, place 2-3 white chocolate chips on top of each cookie.
Step 5: Bake for 8-10 minutes and remove from the oven. Cookies will still appear slightly soft in the middle, but let them cool for 5 minutes and they will be perfect!
Step 6: Transfer cookies to a cooling rack to cool completely or serve warm.

Our suggestion is to eat these delicious cookies with a glass of milk! As we said, they are the best way to end your night after a great meal with the family.

These cookies should be kept in an airtight container and will last for up to a week! We normally eat our batch way before the week is up! 🤫

Let us know what you think of these cookies after baking them!

Happy Hanukkah!

With love,
CEO/Founder - Ira Green xoxo
